Fashion' Personal Style': Something old something new

Whether from old pieces or new, mixing and matching garments in ways you’ve never tried before—using what’s already in your wardrobe—can create a surprising and impactful result.

Mixing and matching clothes, pants, and accessories that I wear often with pieces that are rarely used can create an entirely new look that feels fresh and exciting. I personally experienced this while cleaning and reorganizing my wardrobe. What started as a simple task turned into a moment of rediscovery.

As I went through my clothes, I began to notice how interesting certain combinations could be—especially those involving pieces I hadn’t worn in a long time, like forgotten blazers or overlooked garments. Seeing their potential in a new light made me want to style and wear them again. It reminded me that sometimes, a fresh look doesn’t come from buying something new, but from reimagining what we already have.

The aesthetic of this look can be seen through the combination of warm and cool tones—mustard, brown, light blue, and white—brought together through pieces such as a blazer, belt, top, trousers, loafers, and a clutch.
